Contractors undertaking assignments through their own Limited Company, will be legally required to review their employment status as of April 6th 2021. The new IR35 rules dictate that it is the contractors' client who will ultimately determine the status of any given worker which, in turn, impacts on the amount of tax that they have to pay.
In short, if a contractor is working on an assignment that is subject to any form of Supervision, Direction or Control, then they are deemed to be 'inside IR35' and unable to get paid via a limited company.
